UW-Superior alumnus, CEO of Latino Broadcasting Company, Founder of the Immigrant Archive Project, and May 2013 UW-Superior's Commencement Keynote Speaker Tony Hernandez will be presenting on "The Modern Immigrant Experience and the Immigrant Archive Project" on Monday, September 23rd at 2:00 PM - 2:50 PM in Erlenbach Lecture Hall in Swenson Hall.
His presentation will address issues regarding immigration reform and the Dream Act. He will also share one or two of his Immigrant Archive Project video interviews with young people who share their personal stories of immigration to the United States. His presentation will be geared for college student learning, engagement and experience. However, everyone in the campus and off-campus community will learn invaluable information regarding this important topic.
The presentation is free and open to the public. Parking is not free.
