Alumna returns to speak with Transportation and Logistics Club
The Transportation and Logistics (T&L) Club recently welcomed alumna Kate Ferguson as a guest speaker. A 2006 graduate with degrees in Transportation and Logistics Management and Computer Information Systems, Ferguson is now the Director of Trade and Business Development at the Duluth Seaway Port Authority.
She provided an engaging and informational presentation about the impact of the port on the local economy and the potential opportunities that the new intermodal terminal will provide.
“It was wonderful to connect with a successful alumna who is dedicated to helping current students learn about the industry,” said UW-Superior student Marta Larson, a double major in Transportation and Logistics Management and Mathematics.
