Choirs, orchestra to hold Duluth performance of Mozart’s ‘Requiem’

SUPERIOR, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Superior choirs and orchestra will hold a special performance of Mozart’s immortal “Requiem in D Minor” on Friday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Duluth.

“This beloved masterwork was left unfinished at the time of Mozart’s death and has become one of the most famous pieces of choral and orchestra music in the world,” said Michael Fuchs, director of choral activities at UW-Superior and conductor for the concert.

The performance will also feature soloists Vicki Fingalson, Sarah Lawrence, Cal Metts, and Jeffrey Madison.

Suggested donation for this concert is $10. First Lutheran Church is located at 1100 E. Superior St. in Duluth.
