UW-Superior’s Pre-Law Society, an affiliate student organization with the Legal Studies - Criminal Justice Program, hosted Douglas County District Attorney Mark Fruehauf at their October 19 meeting. Fruehauf spoke about his experiences as an attorney and his first year as the Douglas County District Attorney.  

“Bringing in law and justice professionals is a key part of our campus programming effort in Pre-Law Society,” said Pre-Law Society president Reggie Semanko. “By talking personally with experienced professionals, students have a chance to learn about their own advanced education and professional goals.”

The Pre-Law Society meets every other Thursday in Swenson Hall room 3069.  Meetings are open to all students and campus members.  

Next featured speakers include:

  • October 26:  Attorney Lukas Saunders presents on civil law practice, noon to 1 p.m., Swenson Hall Room 3069
  • October 28:  Superior Citizens in Action event, First Floor Swenson Hall, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • November 30:  Paralegal Rod Niemi, noon to 1 p.m., Swenson Hall Room 3069

Pre-Law Society is advised by Dr. Maria Stalzer Wyant Cuzzo.
