School of Business and Economics students present findings at Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium

Three of UW-Superior School of Business and Economics students, Iveel Munkhbaatar, Omiwale Opeyemi, and Obiageli Ekwunwa, showcased their research projects at the Fall 2018 Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium.

The students were mentored by Sakib Mahmud, associate professor of sustainable management and economics.

The title of Iveel’s project was titled, “The Impact of Smart Growth Initiatives in the State of Wisconsin.”

UW-Superior students Omiwale Opeyemi and Obiageli Ekwunwa

Obiageli (Oby) and Opeyemi (Ope)’s project was titled “Retail Industry Outlook of the City of Superior.” Findings from this study will be presented soon to the Superior Mayor and City Council.

Both projects were well received by the campus and local communities. Congratulations to our student researchers for their hard work and effort to finalize and present their projects for the greater community.
