Students to showcase talents at Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium
Students who have completed research or creative projects will present their work at the Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium, Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. in Swenson Hall.
The Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium is free and open to the community.
Twenty University of Wisconsin-Superior students who have completed research or creative projects will present their work at the Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium, Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. in Swenson Hall.
Student presenters include participants in UW-Superior’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program. Project topics range from women’s experience in fiction to how the criminal justice system is treating individuals struggling with additions, big box retail and its impacts on Superior, microplastic pollution in Newton Creek and the St. Louis River Estuary, non-profit vs. for-profit hospitals and Superior Amateur Hockey Association and the local economy.
Oral sessions will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. in Swenson Hall - Erlanbach Lecture Hall (1st Floor), with poster presentations following from 4 to 5 p.m. in the first floor atrium.
The Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium is free and open to the community. Free parking is available in lots 2 and 11. Swenson Hall is located at 1610 Weeks Ave. in Superior.
