UW-Superior to hold virtual commencement December 19
Nearly 800 students to take part
Nearly 800 students who completed their degrees will be eligible to receive diplomas when the University of Wisconsin-Superior conducts its virtual commencement at noon on Saturday, December 19.
Chancellor Renée Wachter will preside over the ceremony and celebrate students who have earned associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree from fall 2019, spring, summer and fall 2020. The event will also include remarks by UW-Superior graduate Ric Sommerville as well as UW System Regents Kyle Weatherly, Ed Manydeeds and Karen Walsh.
The student speaker will be Nathaniel Ballard, a bachelor’s degree candidate. Ballard is an elementary education major with an instructional minor from Duluth.
