About the Office of International Programs - OIP

  • International Admissions – The OIP handles all aspects of international undergraduate student admissions, including recruitment, correspondence with prospective students, application processing, international credential evaluation, and initial academic and immigration advising. The office also provides immigration and limited other support for international graduate admissions. 

  • International Student Services – The OIP provides services related to international students, including support and assistance concerning visas and related immigration issues. It also conducts new student orientation and offers guidance regarding social, cultural and academic issues. The OIP serves as a resource center for and about international students.

  • Study Abroad - The OIP helps coordinate study abroad programs offered by UW-Superior and provides assistance to students who participate in study abroad programs offered by other University of Wisconsin campuses.

  • National Student Exchange (NSE) - The OIP coordinates UW-Superior's participation in the NSE, a consortium of more than 200 schools in the U.S., Canada and several U.S. territories. UW-Superior students can apply to attend the other NSE schools for one semester or for a full academic year.
