Other big events are an excursion to the Mall of America, the biggest shopping center in the United States, just two hours away; a ski trip to Spirit Mountain, the biggest ski slope in the Minnesota/Wisconsin region just 15 minutes from UW-Superior campus; a Saturday trip to ValleyFair Amusement Park; and a trip to AppleFest in Bayfield, Wisconsin.
More activities WSA does yearly are:
Canoeing or whitewater rafting along local lakes and rivers.
Fall Welcome Picnic, Spring Welcome Pizza Party.
Sports Culture Nights, where you can try sports and activities from different countries.
Ethnic Cuisine Cooking Demonstrations.
