Q: Why did you choose to come to UW-Superior?
A: I knew I can get a lot of opportunities in UW-Superior campus because it is the University of Wisconsin System and smaller than many schools. I also liked that UW-Superior gives scholarships to international students.
Q: What have you liked best about your experience at UW-Superior?
A: Above all, the best experience was the international student orientation which was held in August, when I first came here. Thanks to the orientation, I was able to make a lot of international friends and easily adjust to the new surroundings.
Q: Tell us about your experience with the Office of International Programs (OIP).
A: I am totally satisfied. The OIP has supported me a lot. The OIP have always been available when I need help or have questions whenever I'm in a difficult situation. What's more, I received a lot of information even before I came to America.
Q: What has surprised you most about your experience at UW-Superior?
A: I have been able to make a lot of friends, both international and American friends. Especially, I have been surprised that it is very easy to meet and ask questions to professors because UW-Superior has is a smaller university. Being at UW-Superior is very good opportunity to learn and experience with very nice people.
Q: What advice would you give to an international student who is considering attending UW-Superior?
A: If someone is considering attending UW-Superior, I would like to recommend it as a way to experience American college life. UW-Superior provides many opportunities, such as on-campus jobs and many activities.
