An initial first semester schedule will be prepared for you by the Office of International Programs and/or your academic advisor, taking into consideration your intended major, freshman/transfer status, test scores and course availability.
Keep in mind:
If it is two months or less before the beginning of the semester, there will likely be limited course availability. Every effort will be made to allow you to get the best first semester schedule possible, but late registration will also require effort and understanding on the part of the student.
During the first semester, the majority of courses will be general education courses
The initial schedule prepared for you can be changed when you arrive on campus.
It is essential that you arrange to meet with your academic advisor during the week before classes begin.
