Costs and Financial Aid

Estimated expenses for the nine-month 2015-2016 academic calendar year for an international undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Superior:

Undergraduate Tuition/Fees (Per Year)*

$15,960*

Residence Hall/Meal Plan (Standard Double Room)

$6,410

Tuition, Fees, Room and Meals (Total)

$22,370

* Does not include scholarship/financial assistance opportunities available to many international students. Figures are for full-time students (12-18 credits per semester) enrolled for the full academic year.

The figures above do not include MEDICAL INSURANCE, which is required and costs $1,430 for the 2015-2016 academic year, or BOOKS & SUPPLIES, for which students should budget approximately $800 per year. Also not included above are PERSONAL & TRAVEL EXPENSES, which each individual student ultimately determines. We recommend that students budget at least $2,150 for these.

Total estimated cost for 2015-2016*: $26,750

*Includes tuition, fees, residence hall, meals, insurance, books, supplies, and personal expenses as indicated above. Does not include summer-related expenses. This figure is used for Form I-20 purposes.

Note that in the U.S., the average increase for university-related costs is approximately 6% per year. In recent years, cost increases for UW-Superior international students have been approximately 2-4%.
