Q: Why did you choose to come to UW-Superior?
A: My brother is a student at UW-Superior. It has good environment for studying with highly-skilled professors, so he recommended it to me. And now that I'm here, I feel I made the right decision.
Q: What have you liked best about your experience at UW-Superior?
A: At UW-Superior, we get lots of opportunities to sharpen our skills. In my own case, in my first semester I got chance to become an organizer for the World Student Assocation's Cultural Night, and then in the second semester, I was elected WSA treasurer.
Q: Tell us about your experience with the Office of International Programs (OIP).
A: I am very satisfied with the OIP. It helps all the international students in many ways. It brings all of them together by organizing many events. It helps us make friends easily and adapt to this new environment.
Q: What has surprised you most about your experience at UW-Superior?
A: The very friendly nature of the professors has surprised me the most. They are so easy to talk to and very helpful.
Q: What advice would you give to an international student who is considering attending UW-Superior?
A: I have spent just a year at UW-Superior and everything that I have experienced has been good. Here you get a very friendly environment where you will be surrounded with lots of opportunities - you will just need to grab them! Due to its many facilities and opportunities, my brother recommended UW-Superior to me, and now I would like to recommend it to other international students.
