When I first came to UWS I lacked confidence and had a lot of doubt in my ability. My teachers and advisors pushed me to try new things. Their need for me to succeed led me to challenge myself and experience new things. I auditioned for a theater production on campus, I made a film, and all along the way made connections with people that will last a lifetime.
