Committee Charge
The Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Committee will consider and make recommendations to the University’s diversity efforts. The charge of the committee is to work with the Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion to:
- Assist in the planning and development of a campus wide diversity and inclusion plan
- Routinely review and make recommendations with respect to the Diversity and Inclusion Plan
- Assist the University in achieving its diversity goals as identified in Diversity and Inclusion Plan
- Assist with the routine development and implementation of a climate survey and with the development of strategies to improve the climate/environment for all students, staff and faculty
- Interface with other campus diversity groups as they are developed
Membership includes: Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (Chair); Chancellor (or designee); Cabinet Representative (1); Diversity Network Representative (1); as well as the following to be approved by senates: Faculty (1); Academic Staff (1); University Staff (1); Student (1).
