Students looking for an affordable andcomfortable living option for the summer need not look further than living oncampus at UW-Superior. The newly renovated Hawkes Hall (and part of Ross Hall)will be home to students looking for ongoing to summer-only housing.

Boasting amenities such as free laundry, common lounges with cabled TV, free wifi, gender neutral/single bathrooms, as well as access to the newly constructed link building. The link includes air conditioning, hall desk services including mail and packages, two TVs (one is 80"), plenty of relaxation and study space, workout equipment in the basement, and easy access to the DTA bus.

Students will also have a front row seat to the completion of theRoss/Hawkes Hall renovation project including the remaining two floors in Ross Hall, as well as all exterior landscaping, patio development, and entranceway development.

The rates to live on campus are incredible as well, with a single room being $600/resident, a double room at $400/resident, and a suite listed at $500/resident. These rates are decreased from last summer's rates by $150 and $100, respectively. In addition, if a student wants to add on a Residence Life owned air conditioner (the only type allowed, as Residence Life installs and maintains the equipment), an easy $160 charge will be added to the room (split amongst occupants if desired by the residents). Air conditioners will be installed in resident rooms who have rented one the week of May 19th and removed from their rooms the week of August 11th.

A student does not need to be currently enrolled in classes to live on campus for the summer. If a student does not have a 2014-15 contract, however, they are required to vacate their room during the second week of August in preparation for fall move-in. Students who do have a contract for 2014-15 will be transitioned/moved to their fall housing location.

For more information about summer housing, including fees, please go online. To sign a contract for summer, please logon to Live@UWS.
