Join 200 of your fellow res hall students Saturday, September 6th from 7-9pm on a dance party and cruise on the Vista Star.
The weekend of September 5-7th, there is something really cool happening called Res Hall weekend. It starts Friday the 5th and goes through Sunday. Saturday night, there will be a Vista Cruise! "What's a Vista Cruise?" you may ask. It is an awesome boat that we will take out onto Lake Superior and cruise around while we dance and eat snacks with 200 of your favorite friends!!
The ticket sales will begin on move in day, Thursday, August 28th, and will continue at your hall front desk (open daily from 3pm-midnight). Ticket prices are $3 before classes and $5 after they begin. This is an awesome deal because if you were ever to go any other time, you would be paying $16.
You can either ride the buses which will be taking students out to the Vista from 6:00-6:30 at the Yellowjacket Union or you can drive yourself. The parking is at the Marcus Duluth movie theater and parking costs $5. So, get your group of friends together and get your tickets before they run out!
Tickets are limited to the first 200 students. It's going to be a great night with dancing, snacks, and a lot of new people to meet. See you there!
Please note that Vista Cruise and all Res Hall weekend events are open to all residence hall students (UWS, WITC, and LSC). The only money you need to spend is the $3-$5 for your Vista ticket! More promo will be on our Res Life Facebook page
