The Asselin scholarship was created to help pay tuition at local universities (UMD, UWS, LSC and CSS) and requires applicants to be the primary caregiver to one or more children.

Modern Woodmen of America Scholarship Fund was established by the Duluth Camp No. 2341 Modern Woodmen of America to provide assistance to the non-traditional student in financial need.
