Looking for added support for your wellness journey? UW-Superior Fitness programs provide information and training for the campus community and Marcovich Wellness Center (MWC) members interested in maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.
Group fitness classes are a popular and fun way to be active. Individuals that are interested may pick up schedules and class descriptions at the MWC Welcome Desk.
Personal trainers are available to students and MWC members who are seeking one-on-one motivation, an orientation to our equipment, a fitness assessment or a goal-driven personalized, individualized program.
Our campus wellness programs provide the campus community with information on a wide range of topics, from leading a heart-healthy lifestyle to diet and portion control.

Membership Fees
UW-Superior Students
All students can use the Marcovich Wellness Center for free. Students must be enrolled for at least one credit and paying segregated fees to receive access.
To add family to the student membership there is a $50/month fee for the entire family. Family memberships can be purchased at the Marcovich Wellness Center Welcome Desk. Family members include one spouse/partner and all children under the age of 18 years old and/or still in high school that reside in the same shared household. Children under age 5 are free and do not need a membership but must be accompanied at all times by the member.
UW-Superior Faculty and Staff
Faculty/staff individual membership: $50 per semester.
Memberships can be purchased for faculty and staff at the Marcovich Wellness Center Welcome Desk.
UW-Superior faculty and staff are defined as a person who is currently teaching or working under contract with UW-Superior, those who retired voluntarily from the university and/or are recognized as Emeritus for UW-Superior.
To add family to the faculty/staff membership there is a $50/month fee for the entire family. Family members include one spouse/partner and all children under the age of 18 years old and/or still in high school that reside in the same shared household. Children under age 5 are free and do not need a membership but must be accompanied at all times by the member.
To utilize payroll deduction, the member must be currently receiving a paycheck from UW System. Payroll deduction forms are available at the MWC Welcome Desk. Payroll deduction forms must be completed prior to September 15 for fall semester and January 30 for spring semester of any given year. Forms are also available at the MWC Welcome Desk.
UW-Superior Alumni
Alumni membership: $25 per month.
Memberships can be purchased at the Marcovich Wellness Center Welcome Desk.
Members must have obtained bachelor’s or master’s degree from UW-Superior. This will be verified with the Registrar’s Office upon purchase.
To add family to the alumni membership there is a $50/month fee for the entire family. Family members include one spouse/partner and all children under the age of 18 years old and/or still in high school that reside in the same shared household. Children under age 5 are free and do not need a membership but must be accompanied at all times by the member.
Youth High School Student (aged 16 through high school graduation)
Youth membership: $25 per month.
Memberships can be purchased at the Marcovich Wellness Center Welcome Desk.
Youth pass is ONLY valid weekdays prior to 8 a.m. and after 3 p.m. and weekends. One-time orientation is MANDATORY for all users and one parent/guardian must be present for the one-time orientation. Family membership is not available with the membership.
Community Member
Community membership: $50 per month.
Memberships can be purchased at the Marcovich Wellness Center Welcome Desk.
UW System Student Summer Membership
UW System student membership: $25 per month.
Any student enrolled in a UW System school can purchase a summer membership. This is valid from May-August of any year. Must show current valid ID from home institution. Memberships can be purchased at the Marcovich Wellness Center Welcome Desk.
