Residence Life staff continues to work to provide a safe living environment for all our residential students. We continue to follow CDC guidelines and UW-System recommendations. If you have any questions, please contact Residence Life.   

Students will be able to rent kitchen cabinets in Ross-Hawkes. Please work with Ross-Hawkes staff to arrange cabinet rental. Students will also have full use of the refrigerators. 

Starting June 1:

  • Residence halls will allow external guests.
  • COVID-19 room occupancy limits will no longer be in place.
  • Common areas such as lounges, laundry rooms, and kitchens will be open for use with no occupancy restrictions. 
  • Weekly COVID-19 testing is required for students who are living on campus but who have not been fully vaccinated (2 weeks after last dose of vaccine).  
    • Testing will take place in MWC 1701
    • Register for a weekly appointment as a STUDENT at doIneedaCOVID19test.com. Appointments are limited so be sure to register early. 
    • If you plan to be gone for any week this summer, email the Dean of Students Office for an exemption.
  • Testing exemptions:
    • Students who are fully vaccinated (two weeks after last dose of vaccine) can be exempt from COVID-19 testing when they complete the student vaccination form. You will be asked to upload your vaccination record to the form. The Dean of Students Office will confirm your exemption for you via email. 
    • Free vaccinations are available at Wessman Arena from 11am – 7pm, Tuesday – Saturday. No appointment required. Visit our Community Vaccination Clinic page for more information. 

Dining Services

Caribou Coffee in the Yellowjacket Union will be open Monday - Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and will have drinks, salads, snacks and a daily lunch special.
