Technology Services provides technology purchasing assistance and guidance to Faculty, Staff, and student organizations for purchasing Computers, Printers, peripherals, and Software for use in their campus offices. Most technology purchases are covered under mandatory state contracts and purchasing agreements. The campus requires that all technology purchases be pre-approved by Technology Services. There are two reasons for this; one is to ensure that proper purchasing rules are being observed, and second to make sure the purchases will be compatible with campus technology. We have also provided an area here where Faculty, Staff, Students, and Alumni can find discounts from many technology vendors. The vendors have provided these discounts to our campus community. By State law Technology Services can't help with personal computer purchases for home use. However, we have provided some basic specifications for personal computer purchases in that area.
