About

Angela Wood has lived in the Twin Ports area her entire life. She enjoys all the outdoors have to offer from biking, running, skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking, and more. She is married, with two children, and an assortment of furry friends. She is also a nationally certified Ski Patroller.

Prior to working at UW-Superior, Angela taught for many years at an Environmental Charter School, mostly in fifth grade, and has experience in PreK, Special Education, Distance Learning, First, Third, Fourth, and Sixth grades.

In the Department of Education at UW-Superior, she teaches in both the Undergraduate and Graduate programs, as well as supervises Student Teachers. Through this work she prides herself on inspiring the next generation of teachers with the most up to date research on teaching and learning that will in turn benefit many more generations of kindergarten through twelfth grade students.

  • April 2008 received the Golden Apple Award from KBJR for excellence in Teaching and Leadership in the Twin Ports area.
