We’ve Always Been Superior
In 1949, the UW-Superior Alumni and Friends Foundation was incorporated as private, non-profit organization to raise funds and support university activities. Three students were awarded the first Foundation scholarships back in 1958.
Today, more than $1 million is awarded to our students each year. Because of the generosity of alumni and friends, the efforts to prepare Yellowjackets for the future – and the programs, scholarships, and opportunities that make UWS truly special – are better than ever.
Our Mission
To cultivate lifelong connections, pride and generosity to advance the university’s mission to support student success.
Our Vision
To be the primary resource for alumni and friends’ engagement while inspiring a culture of philanthropy in support of UW-Superior and its students.
Supporting UW-Superior Together
The UW-Superior Alumni and Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization governed by a dedicated Board of Directors. These volunteers, including alumni, friends, faculty/staff, and students, support the university and actively participate in our engagement and development efforts.
