Scholarships

For students majoring in Economics, History, Geography, Political Science, Psychology or Sociology with preference to incoming freshmen.

For students who are veterans, or sons or daughters of veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.

For a junior with a major in Biology or Environmental Science and a focus on aquatic biology or fishery science. Recipient must be enrolled full-time and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. The recipient will renew the award in their senior year if they continue to meet the criteria.

For an incoming freshman student who is a graduate of Spooner (Wisconsin) High School, with the UW-Superior Foundation matching the award.

For a student majoring in Legal Studies who is in their undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior year with financial need and a minimum GPA of 3.0.

For students who meet these criteria: Must have achieved at least sophomore standing at the time the scholarship is awarded Must play one of the following instruments: violin, viola, cello or double bass Must study privately with a member of the UW-Superior music faculty Must be a member of the UW-Superior Chamber Orchestra Must be a Teacher Education major, except that in the case there is no Teacher Education major who meets all other criteria, the scholarship may be awarded to a Music Performance major who meets the other criteria

For students who are veterans, or the sons, grandsons, daughters or granddaughters of veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.

For students in Media and Communication who show academic merit and financial need.

For a UW-Superior student pursuing a Coaching certificate.

For undergraduates who show academic promise in one of the humanities, namely history, literature or philosophy.
