The Yellowjacket Union (YU) is a vibrant, energetic place where students meet friends to learn, eat, relax and play. It’s also a beautiful venue for conferences, special events and more!

During university break periods, the Yellowjacket Union is typically open:
Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (except state holidays)
Saturday – Sunday: Open for events only

‘Jacket Book and Supply
The UW-Superior Bookstore, conveniently located in Yellowjacket Union, is your one-stop shop for textbooks, supplies, apparel and much more! Shop online or in-person for all your Yellowjacket needs.
Reserve a Room
Rooms of various sizes are available for use by student organizations and campus departments for meetings and events. The public may rent space per our established usage policy. Per-day rental rates for Union facilities for non-UW-Superior groups:

Weddings and Events
The Great Room is available for anyone to rent for weddings and other events. From September through May, up to two weekends per month are reserved for these special occasions.
UW-Superior students, alumni, faculty, staff, and retirees receive a 10% discount on room rental when booking for themselves or their children.
