About

Beth was in the fourth grade when her mom graduated from nursing school. This achievement inspired Beth to pursue teaching as a profession with a focus on nontraditional students. She continues to be inspired by her students who take care of others while working so hard to provide a more secure future for their families.

Beth holds an M.A. and M.F.A. from Northwestern University in Radio/Television/Film with an interdisciplinary certificate in Telecommunications Science, Policy and Management. She produces media for the web, commercials and documentaries. Austin’s work has been screened on WDSE, WDIO and at film festivals.
