Orchestra Concert to feature UW-Superior, The College of St. Scholastica students

The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will host its Orchestra Concert on Tuesday, November 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium.

The evening will include students from UW-Superior, The College of St. Scholastica and string musicians from the Northshore Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert will feature Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, Carl Nielsen’s Little Suite, Felix Mendelssohn’s Sinfonia in D Minor, John Rutter’s Suite Antica, and Miss Drummond of Perth’s Favorite Scots Measure.

Soloists for the performance include Melanie Sever, flute; Alexander Sandor, harpsichord; J. David Arnott, violin; and Jessica Schroeder, harpsichord.

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students. Thorpe Langley Auditorium is in Old Main at 1710 Weeks Ave. in Superior.
