Superior Soirée: An Evening of Celebration, Community and Giving

The UW-Superior Alumni & Friends Foundation invites alumni and the community to its fall fundraising event, a Superior Soirée. The fun semi-formal event will be held on Friday, October 3, in the Yellowjacket Union on the UW-Superior campus, and includes dining, music, a silent auction, raffles and more.

The evening will start with a social hour at 5 p.m. The cash bar will be open, silent auction items will be on display, and raffle tickets will be on sale.

At 6 p.m., the dinner and program will begin. The gourmet menu will include salad, a duet plate with stuffed chicken breast and trout, dessert and more. A vegan option is also available. There will be a special musical performance by pianist and composer David Packa, class of 2016.

The event will also feature the 2025 Alumni & Friends Awards Ceremony. This year’s honorees are:

  • Distinguished Alumni Award – Stephanie Hilton, ’02
  • Recent Alumni Achievement Award – Erica Hansen, ’15
  • Honorary Alumni Award – Dr. Haji Dokhanchi
  • James Rainaldo Outstanding Mentor Award – Dr. Cindy Graham, ’88
  • Edward & Betty Kossak Service Award – Brad Lindahl, ’83


Tickets are $65 for individuals and $350 for tables of six, and proceeds will benefit both students and alumni. Visit uwsuper.edu/Soiree to learn more and purchase tickets.

The silent auction will feature a variety of items and will be available both on-site and online. Bidding at the event will require a mobile device. The auction will open online on September 26 and end on the evening of October 3.
