The University of Wisconsin-Superior will host the 22nd annual UW-Superior Student Film and Video Showcase on Friday, May 16, at 7 p.m. in the Manion Theatre. The event is free and open to the community.

The showcase will feature more than ten original short films created by students in the Department of Communication, Media and Theatre. The projects range from fictional comedies and dramas to documentaries covering a variety of topics.

“These film projects represent the very best work produced by students in the department during the 2024–25 school year and include several capstone projects,” said Brent Notbohm, professor of film and video and chair of the Department of Communication, Media and Theatre at UW-Superior.

Manion Theater is in the Holden Fine Arts Center at 1805 Catlin Ave. in Superior.
