The University of Wisconsin-Superior will host Paddle and Pause: A half-day experience of nature, movement and mindfulness with two sessions on Tuesday, August 5, at Woodstock Bay in Superior’s Municipal Forest.
Although designed for adults aged 55+ in mind, all participants 18 and over are welcome to take part in this free community event. No prior paddling or mindfulness experience is needed.
The morning session will run from 8 to 11 a.m. and will include breakfast. The afternoon session runs from noon to 3 p.m. with lunch included.
Both sessions will include a peaceful paddling journey guided by UW-Superior’s Superior Adventures followed by a calming mindfulness session led by the Pruitt Center for Mindfulness and Well-Being.
