Superior Stories

A collage featuring black-and-white photos of smiling people, graduates, and groups at events surrounds the words Superior Stories: An Alumni Oral History Project on a white background with yellow accents.

Your Superior Story… Our History

The Alumni and Friends Foundation wants to give you an opportunity to share your UW-Superior story. This oral history project provides alumni, faculty, and staff the chance to tell their story in their own words. After the collection is complete, these unique stories will be compiled into a beautiful book that celebrates our history.

This opportunity is possible thanks to a partnership with Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI). In addition to collecting stories, PCI will be assisting the Alumni and Friends Foundation with collecting updated biographic information to ensure we have the best information available to stay connected.

Whether you say UWS, Superior State, WSC, SSU, or WSSU, you have a Superior Story to tell – and we want to hear it!

How to Share Your Story

Alumni will be receiving a postcard and emails from PCI with more information on how to share their story. Stories will be collected via a phone call with a trained member of the PCI team.

If you did not receive a postcard or email, you may call in your response via this telephone number: 1-877-231-5467

What to Look For

PCI has currently been sending postcards and emails to our alumni. Simply follow the steps to update your information and set up a time to share your story with one of their staff members.

Postcard Example

A letter from the University of Wisconsin-Superior urges alumni to verify their information by calling a phone number within five days. The letter includes a bold header, a signature, and highlights upcoming alumni events and the importance of updating contact data.

Email Example

A verification request letter from the University of Wisconsin-Superior Alumni Association, urging the recipient to call within 5 days to update alumni records and stay informed about upcoming events, with contact details and office hours provided.
