The Yellowjacket Union (YU) is a vibrant, energetic place where students meet friends to learn, eat, relax and play. It’s also a beautiful venue for conferences, special events and more!

During university break periods, the Yellowjacket Union is typically open:
Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (except state holidays)

Bookstore
The UW-Superior Bookstore, conveniently located in Yellowjacket Union, is your one-stop shop for textbooks, supplies, apparel and much more! Shop online or in-person for all your Yellowjacket needs.
Reserve a Room
Rooms of various sizes are available for use by student organizations and campus departments for meetings and events. The public may rent space per our established usage policy. Room Rate Schedule
Per-day rental rates for Union facilities for non-UW-Superior groups are:

Weddings
Anyone is eligible to rent the Great Room for a wedding or commitment ceremony reception. September through May, a maximum of two weekends per month may be reserved for wedding and commitment ceremony receptions. UW-Superior current students, alumni, faculty, staff and retirees will be given a 10% discount off the cost of room rental for a wedding or commitment ceremony reception for themselves or their children.
