Kelli Abar has been the Graduate Admissions Recruiter since 2016. With over 29 years in education, she has visited over 2,000 schools. Kelli began her career as a high school teacher and coach after earning a B.G.S. in English & Health from Northern Illinois University. She then led 35 Sylvan Learning Centers across four states, hiring, training, and mentoring hundreds of teachers, overseeing curriculum and marketing, and managing P&Ls and budgets, ultimately impacting thousands of lives. Kelli holds an M.S. in Educational Administration from UW-Superior and is currently pursuing an Ed.S. degree in Educational Administration.
Residing in Minneapolis with her husband Eric and daughter Aria, Kelli enjoys traveling with her family, especially to Greece and Turks and Caicos. She loves watching Aria play sports, working out at Orange Theory, coaching youth volleyball, trying to golf, and spending time with friends and family.
