About
Janie completed her bachelor’s degree when she turned 50, and walked across the stage to accept her diploma with her daughter by her side. Janie and her daughter completed a Bachelor of Arts in Management at The College of St. Scholastica side-by-side. Janie received her Master’s Degree at the age of 58, and wrote her capstone on reverse transfer, which she has successfully implemented on the UW-Superior campus. Janie is a strong advocate for transfer students and adult learners and helps all students to achieve degree completion at all levels.
Janie enjoys warm-weather outdoor activities; kayaking, paddle boarding, camping and gardening. Â During the colder months, Janie enjoys creating quilts for family and friends.Â
