About

Deborah is an active freelance musician and recitalist in the Northland, who works most frequently with the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra (DSSO) as a substitute and extra musician. She performs regularly with the Lyric Opera of the North (LOON) and the Northern Lights Music Festival.

Deborah has written curriculum for DSSO Young Peoples Concerts and often teaches masterclasses. In addition to being an instructor of horn at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, she maintains a private studio. Deborah is the founding member of the Northlands Finest Horn Choir (NFHC), a group of above-average horns that meet irregularly with great enthusiasm. She holds degrees from Wittenberg University and the University of Minnesota.
