Research Interests

Deborah’s areas of specialization are rhetoric and early 20th-century American literature, particularly the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald. She has presented at national and international conferences on these topics and has a number of publications on Fitzgerald. Deborah is especially interested in Fitzgerald as a St. Paul author and as an Irish-American author.
