Alumni Association Scholarship

Scholarships for incoming freshman and current undergraduate students. Incoming freshmen must be in the top 25 percent of their high school graduating class, and have a strong high school curriculum, ACT/SAT scores, and GPA. Current students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, must not be entering their last semester in the fall, and cannot receive more than $1,500 in additional UW-Superior Foundation scholarship support for the applicable academic year. Preference for one award to a resident of Wisconsin.

For students in Education with at least a 3.0 GPA and financial need.

Cass-Burdge Family Special Education Graduate Student Scholarship

For students in the Masters of Science Education – Special Education Program. Applicants must submit a 300-word essay describing how the applicant would, as a special educator, deliver services to students with disabilities, work with other educators, and what strategies for intervention the applicant would use.

Edward and Betty Kossak Scholarship

For students enrolled full-time at UW-Superior who wish to pursue a career in working with persons with disabilities. The recipient must have a major in Elementary Education with a minor in Adaptive Education/Special Education along with pursuing a degree program and/or certificate to work with persons with disabilities. The recipient must be entering their undergraduate junior or senior year at UW-Superior, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and show some level of financial need. The recipient must also include a paragraph in the scholarship application outlining their personal commitment to and involvement with persons with disabilities.
