Alumni Association Scholarship

Scholarships for incoming freshman and current undergraduate students. Incoming freshmen must be in the top 25 percent of their high school graduating class, and have a strong high school curriculum, ACT/SAT scores, and GPA. Current students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, must not be entering their last semester in the fall, and cannot receive more than $1,500 in additional UW-Superior Foundation scholarship support for the applicable academic year. Preference for one award to a resident of Wisconsin.

Blaine Diesslin and Lucy Barnes-Diesslin Scholarship

For an incoming freshman majoring in Math, Computer Science, or the Natural Sciences. The recipient will renew the award for up to three additional academic years if they continue to meet this criteria. This fund supports only one recipient at a time.

Carl and Marion Jacobson Scholarship

For students planning to enter engineering school and preparing with subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Design, etc.

For incoming freshman students from Northwestern Wisconsin or Northeastern Minnesota who intend to major/minor in Math, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology or Physics.

Hulbert-Hanson Mathematics Scholarship

For students who are residents of Wisconsin or Minnesota with academic merit and financial need majoring in Mathematics. Preference is given to students planning to teach.

For full-time continuing undergraduate students of junior or senior status with a 3.0 GPA or better majoring in Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics.

John Bloom Davis Scholarship

For a student in Computer Science or Mathematics who shows financial need and has at least a 3.0 grade point average. Preference is given to an international student first, and a woman second.
