Alumni & Friends Foundation Scholarship

Scholarships for incoming freshman and current undergraduate students. Incoming freshmen must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Current students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, cannot receive more than $3,000 in additional UW-Superior Foundation scholarship support for the applicable academic year, and must submit a personal statement answering, "How do you plan to stay connected and engaged as an alum of UW-Superior?"

Carole J. “Filby” Kolbe Visual Arts Scholarship

For students majoring in Visual Arts. Preference for students majoring with a concentration in Art Education.

Dorothy McKay Anderson Scholarship

For students in fine arts (art, music, communication, media, theatre) or English, preferably a graduate of a Superior or Duluth high school.

Emile Mathis Art Scholarship

For students pursuing a degree in Art. Available only to freshmen, incoming sophomore students, and freshmen-year recipients who may apply for the tuition for their sophomore year.

Jim Grittner Ceramics Scholarship

For students in their second, third, or fourth academic year who are majoring in Art and show promise and commitment to pottery. Preference will be given to U.S. Citizens.

For a student enrolled full-time, with at least a 2.75 GPA, financial need, and majoring in a Visual Arts program. First preference given to a first generation or other underrepresented students.
