About

Lynn has been in education for over 20 years. She has experience as a professional school counselor, district assessment coordinator, and outpatient therapist. Lynn has also been a director of a graduate counseling program and has taught in both the mental health and professional school counseling tracks. She is committed to providing school counselors and mental health counselors with opportunities for professional and personal growth.

In her spare time, Lynn enjoys hiking, biking and traveling. One of her goals is to hike the entire Superior Hiking Trail – not all at once, but a lofty endeavor that may take a few years. Coming from southern Minnesota, she is looking forward to experiencing the changes in Lake Superior throughout each season.

Research Interests

Lynn’s doctoral studies focused on the lived experiences of novice professional school counselors and the supports and resources that assist with their professional development. Additionally, she is interested in clinical supervision and the impact on life-long learning for professional counselors in school and clinical settings.
