Performance has been rescheduled due to inclement weather

Students from the University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will perform opera and musical theatre on Monday, December 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium.

Under the direction of Professor Vicki Fingalson, D.M.A., UW-Superior Opera Workshop students will perform a program of scenes from both the musical theater and operatic repertoire. The evening will include Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel & Gretel, Giacomo Puccini’s La Boheme, Gaetano Donizetti’s Elixir of Love, and The Boys from Syracuse by Richard Rogers and Lorenz Hart. 

These scenes will be performed by 11 students, in English. They will be joined by pianist Tori Wright. 

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students. Thorpe Langley Auditorium is in Old Main at 1710 Weeks Ave. in Superior.
