More than 30 students who have completed research projects through the University of Wisconsin-Superior’s TRIO McNair Scholars Program and the Link Center Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity (URSCA) will present their work on Tuesday, October 14, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union as part of the Undergraduate Research Symposium. This event is free and open to the community.
This campus-wide event invites UW-Superior undergraduate students from every discipline to share their research, scholarship and creative projects.
Project topics include “Investigating Predictors of Psychological Distress Among Restaurant Employees,” “Characterization of Particles from HEPA Filter from International Space Station,” “Exploring Quantum Cryptography – How to encrypt and decrypt a secured message through the laws/mathematics of Quantum Cryptography” and many more.
A poster session will begin at 3 p.m. on the Yellowjacket Union landing. Oral sessions will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union, Rooms 201 to 204. The symposium concludes at 6 p.m.
