UW-Superior, Jackets Vote to host ‘Skills for Conversations about Public Policy and Race’ workshop

The University of Wisconsin will host the workshop “Skills for Conversations about Public Policy and Race” on Monday, September 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.

Free and open to the community, this event is hosted by Jackets Vote, a program of the Link Center, facilitated by Braver Angels and supported by the Center for Continuing Education.

This workshop will focus on understanding different perspectives on issues like affirmative action, policing, reparations and historical monuments. Participants will learn tools for respectful dialogue across divides.
