UW-Superior, Jackets Vote workshop aims to strengthen community dialogue through constructive conversations

The University of Wisconsin-Superior will host the workshop ABCs of Constructive Conversation facilitated by Urban Rural Action on Thursday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.

Free and open to the community, this event is hosted by Jackets Vote, a program of the Link Center, facilitated by Braver Angels and supported by the Center for Continuing Education.

During this workshop, participants will learn and apply a framework, the ABCs of Constructive Conversation, for achieving a mutual understanding of different views on tough topics. Facilitators will introduce a memorable and accessible communication model and help participants practice applying the model to explore different perspectives and navigate disagreement.
