Overview

If you love sports and you’re interested in business, a minor in sports management at UW-Superior may be a perfect fit for you. Sports are big business and require skilled professionals to manage everything from event planning to sales and marketing, brand development, corporate sponsorships, data analytics and much more.

Many students choose to pair the sports management minor with majors in business, communications, psychology, exercise science, or others. Some also add a coaching minor to further expand their employment opportunities.

Sports management encompasses a wide array of careers, from youth sports programs all the way through to professional levels. With a sports management minor from UW-Superior, you will be prepared to start your career upon graduation. You’ll also be ready to pursue a master’s degree in sports management, which is considered the entry-level degree for some careers in the field.
