Housed in the unique and historic setting of Newbattle Abbey, the Experience Scotland program is an amazing experience with virtually limitless opportunities for educational and personal growth.
Experience Scotland began in 1986 as the Wisconsin in Scotland program. The program is administered at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and involves an extensive network of partner schools.
Courses are taught by faculty from the participating universities, as well as Scottish faculty. All courses are designed to take advantage of the Scottish setting. The program allows time for independent travel with a 10-day break and several long weekends. Many cultural activities are included in each program.
