About

Dr. Lue’s dissertation work focused on underrepresented students in higher education. She has been working in higher education, primarily working with federal TRIO Programs for over two decades, currently serving as the TRIO Student Support Services Director. She has taught both online classes and in the classroom, teaching courses in psychology, Indigenous Studies, equity, diversity, and inclusion, social justice, and belonging, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Dr. Lue also guest lectures in local classrooms and has presented at various regional and national conferences, and she is active in her local community, presenting and regional and international conferences.

Research Interests

Dr. Lue’s research interests have been related to various social justice issues, focused primarily on underrepresented college students, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and racelighting. Other research interests include current military and Veterans in terms of educational access and retention.
