About

Jaime received her Master’s Degree In Education in Guidance and Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family (and clinical counseling) from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota. She is passionate about the Native American population and has been blessed to work for a local tribe for the duration of her career. Jaime is a Positive Indian Parenting (PIP) instructor. She is also a certified instructor for the Mental Health First Aid curricula (both adult and youth) and partners with the National Alliance on Mental Illness MN to provide that training around the area. Jaime is trained in Brainspotting, EMDR, and IFOT (Inigenous Focusing -oriented Therapy), three different, yet similar trauma therapies. She has the Permanency and Adoption Competency Certification (PACC) and is passionate about becoming competent in this area since she works with children and families.

In her spare time, Jaime enjoys learning new things and has a special interest in updating old furniture. She enjoys crafting and creating new things. Jaime loves to travel, learn languages, learn about different cultures, and eat food from around the world. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family exploring and enjoying life together.
