About

Tanya served the public school system and community as a special education teacher, administrator and civil rights advocate for over 20 years. She believes all administrators are servants and instructional leaders working towards the common goal of student success, staff growth and community development.

Outside of school, Tanya enjoys reading, camping, hunting and spending time with her family, friends and two dogs.

Research Interests

Tanya’s research interests center on collaborative advocacy. She believes through collaboration, conflict resolution and mediation, schools and families can continue to have a growth mind set to solve school, home and community issues.
