Breaking the Silence Award
Awarded to an individual in recognition of their accomplishments, successes, and their outstanding support and contributions to forwarding the LGBTQIPA movement on campus and in the greater community.
Outstanding Ally Award
Awarded to those individuals (usually but not exclusively heterosexual allies) who have stood beside LGBTQIPA+ individuals through hard times, and advocated for those who needed them.
Faculty/Staff Advocacy Award
Awarded to faculty/staff who have stepped up to speak out or advocate for LGBTQIPA+ on campus. Whether they have been active at events or programs, or mentored individuals and supported them throughout life’s challenges, these individuals go above and beyond their job descriptions to advocate.
